Leading Brokerage Services organization seeking a TOP Network Engineer who is CCIE Certified and has extensive network security experience.

 

? Consults with clients and development area management and staffs in the design and implementation of new or modified WAN/LAN telecommunication networks.

? Responsible for developing system specifications, planning, coordination, configuration, installation and management of LANs, firewalls and related client services within the enterprise to meet business requirements.

? Identifies and resolves complex hardware and software technical problems and malfunctions.

? Monitors and controls infrastructure performance in the areas of response, throughput and availability analysis.

? Provides technical expertise to resolve complex network infrastructure issues.

? Proactively researches and utilizes tools to identify potential problem areas.

? Ensures a stable performance environment for the enterprise.

? Develops test plans for functionality, stress testing, test matrixes and defines test methodologies and strategies.

? Responsible for the creation of test platforms including evaluation of test equipment and designing test networks.
Continuously strives to improve client support, identifying opportunities and recommending solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications:

 If you have a SUCCESSFUL track record as a Senior Network Engineer interfaces with Senior technical and Management personnel concerning the architecture and performance of their National Network: 

 Eight (10+) years of consulting experience
Consults with clients and development area management and staffs in the design and implementation of new or modified LAN/telecommunication networks.
Responsible for developing system specifications, planning, coordination, configuration, installation and management of LANs, firewalls and related client services within the enterprise to meet business requirements.
Identifies and resolves complex hardware and software technical problems and malfunctions.
Monitors and controls infrastructure performance in the areas of response, throughput and availability analysis.
Provides technical expertise to resolve complex network infrastructure issues.
Proactively researches and utilizes tools to identify potential problem areas.
Ensures a stable performance environment for the enterprise.

Ability to listen to and satisfy the customers business and technical requirements
Excellent Teaming and time management skills.

Required Knowledge, Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Requires broad knowledge of telecommunication WAN /LAN technologies, Network Security/Firewalls, hardware/software and implementation solutions to including TCP/IP and AIX/UNIX.
Extensive knowledge and hands on use of the latest Network management tools.
MUST be a CISCO Certified CCIE to include Security certification
Excellent analytical ability, strong judgment and problem analysis techniques, an in-depth knowledge of business unit?s functions and applications.
Office Suite, Communications software (Attachmate Extra).
