Team Leader (#365-MH356)

To direct a team of I/S professionals in the attainment of assigned accountabilities. Influences business and I/T strategies to align with business and industry best practices and trends. Recommends, plans and executes Information Technology solutions to meet business needs. Leads, plans, and consults on areas of responsibility to meet customer requirements. Develops cost, timeframes and resource estimates for all recommendations, and leads team, vendors and/or other resources to meets the objectives. In conjunction with other I/S leaders, establishes I/S policies, procedures, tools and infrastructure. Mentors I/S staff members on business practices and technical architecture. Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with business and I/S units. Works to continually improve I/S services and strategies.

Type of experience:
* 8+ years experience in delivering information-driven business solutions.
* 5 years project management experience.
* 2 years health insurance experience.
* Experience with personnel administration and development.
* Extensive knowledge of health care and or insurance.
* Appropriate technical and business knowledge base for areas of accountability.
* Proficiency in applying job-specific skills to make value-added contributions that align with evolving business strategies.
* Knowledge of various Information Technology infrastructures.
* Knowledge of health care, managed care and/or health insurance industry infrastructure.
* Familiarity with enterprise information tools that supports business requirements/the health care industry.
