Tech Editor/Writer II - (LinkRS23739)

A "Technical Editor/Writer II" is responsible for creating and managing files for the electronic publishing and production of documents and oral presentations (layout, text entry, editing and proofing).

Skills Required: Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint). Familiarity with, Corel Draw, MS Project, MS Access is helpful.

7+ years previous experience in proposals, proposal publication to include establishing formats, document layout and template design is required. Proficient in working small to very large complex new business proposals. Responsible for complying with customer document requirements and page limitations, set up of directory structure for required documentation efforts and maintenance of file integrity. Experienced in technical editing with ability to translate Request for Proposal instructions into directions or templates for production required.

Must possess familiarity with electronic document and graphics formats to create seamless documents from multiple sources. Must be a self-starter to meet deadlines and be available for overtime. Must be willing to learn new skills and applications. Must have problem-solving ability to address schedule and requirement changes.
