BSI Technical Analyst

 

General Summary

Works with clients to develop project specifications that meet clients’ business needs.  Develops, tests and implements standard and custom programs to convert and consolidate data from various data providers into the client-required layout.  Develops both programmatic and workflow solutions to meet clients’ needs.  Creates and maintains all necessary conversion documentation.

 

Essential FunctionsProvide accurate and timely data as outlined in the client’s contract Develop custom solutions and processes to meet client specific data objectives Provide answers to client data inquiries Complete data conversion projects based on parameters established within the client’s contract Participate in client meetings and consult clients regarding their specific data requirements Handle ongoing data and client service support for assigned accounts.  This includes communication, documentation and resolution of client issues Performance tuning of data processes

 Peripheral DutiesServe as member of various employee committees Develop custom routines, data checks, etc. in order to improve the overall efficiency of data operation



Education and ExperienceGraduation from a college or university with a bachelor’s degree One year of related experience in information systems, finance, risk management, economics or statistics Database experience Working knowledge of PC technologies  Desire to use technologies to help the client meet their business objectives Understanding of risk management concepts is beneficial but not required Excellent problem solving skills Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and clients Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
