Capable of meeting demanding deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to professionally deal with a diverse set of problematic circumstances that surround difficult or demanding customer situations in a friendly and constructive manner using adult learning based guidelines.
Validate and verify effective customer training programs through use of customer evaluations, onsite follow-up of Off-site training programs.
Technical Instructor is responsible for developing and facilitating training classes in a timely fashion in accordance with approved adult education models. The development can include manuals, Power Point presentations, CD's, Tech Tips, Computer Based Training modules, online tutorials and maintaining the modality specific curricula to reflect trends in a dynamic medical specialty.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with knowledge of educational techniques.
- Excellent presentation skills
- CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) certification is desirable.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Power Point, Word adn Excel software.
- A strong biomedical background either through Philips Medical Systems or from working as a biomedical technician/engineer.
- A good knowledge of the hospital biomed environment with a minimum of 3 years experience as a biomedical engineer or Philips field service tech.
- A good working knowledge of Philips UM ( Ultrasound/Monitoring) products is required
- A BS Engineering degree or equivalent
- Must be motivated and a self-starter, requiring minimal daily supervision.
Independent of direct supervision provides technical training on Philips Ultrasound/Patient Monitoring products and systems at mid and advanced levels for Philips field service personnel and customer biomedical engineers and technicians. Develops, modifies and maintains training materials/equipment and courses. Some moving and limited lifting of equipment boxes, approx. 85 lbs plus approximately 30% travel, domestic and international.
