 Description

Follows established procedures and formats, researches and compiles technical data for use in routine documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures and specifications. Completes writing assignments according to set standards. Obtains data and information from review of documentation, drawings, schematics and reports, consultation with technical staff members and by studying published material. May assist in laying out material for publication. May maintain records and files of work and revisions.

 Required Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office features, including: creating formulas, sorting, subtotaling, creating tables, using headers and footers, creating watermarks, using document comparison, and creating a table of contents. Proven ability to complete writing assignments according to standards. Demonstrated skill in obtaining data and information from review of a variety of sources. Demonstrated clear, effective written communication. Ability to work effectively with peers & supervisor. Proactively assists others. Achieves quality and schedule requirements. Cordial & responsive to employees & customers/vendors.

 Required Experience

Requires a Bachelors degree and 1 year of related experience. Substitution for education requirement: 2 years related experience substitutes for Associates degree; 4 years related experience substitutes for Bachelors degree.
