Responsibilities: Perform load flow analyses for the various regional electric power markets and act as interface to EM&T organization on transmission related matters. Apply knowledge of transmission and rules of the wholesale power markets, to provide support to the EM&T organization. Run load flow analyses using PowerWorld PSSE and/or MUST, or other load flow programs. Stay abreast of ISO developments and congestion management practices and changes to the transmission grid within area of responsibility. Develop strategy for optimizing asset utilization. Participate in ISO/RTO committees to support developing and existing wholesale markets.

Qualifications:
BSEE required, as is at least 3 years current power industry experience. Must also have a thorough knowledge of the principles of the power transmission system, power flow analysis, data sources for regional load flow analyses, existing and developing wholesale markets, regulations and tariffs and economic & financial principles.
