Function:
Responsible for strategic planning, identifying, evaluating, and recommending growth opportunities, and executing on growth plans that are aligned with the corporate and line of business strategies. Responsibilities include identification of new revenue sources, market research and evaluation, market sizing, identification of value propositions, and integration/execution into the organization. This may include identifying/evaluating acquisition candidates, developing strategic alliances with other firms, and/or creating new product/service offerings.

Responsibilities:
' Develops and recommends the structure of strategy implementation projects, and once approved and funded by the Senior Leadership Team, manages those projects through their successful completion.
' Coordinates and directs activities of others to implement new strategic initiatives and achieve planned results.
' Responsible for establishing strategic alliances with outside firms that can increase the effectiveness of the LOB in achieving it strategic objectives.
' Develops market segmentation and represents the various needs of target markets to the business for opportunity sizing and solution development, based on voice of the client input.
' Owns the responsibility to prepare business cases in support of all major new initiatives.
' Establishes the required knowledge base and required business development skills and expertise to pursue new growth areas in which the LOB does not have an existing knowledge and experience base.
' Creates plans to ensure optimal execution of growth initiatives
' Identifies and evaluates appropriate acquisition candidates and an associated integration plan into the business to optimize growth and success rates

Education: BA/BS Degree required
MBA strongly preferred

Experience:
' 15+ years of increasing responsibility in executing and managing strategic business development initiatives
' Strong, proven planning, execution, and project management skills
' 10+ years payment expertise required, with both issuing and merchant processing background strongly preferred
' Ecommerce Payments and Risk Management expertise strongly preferred
' Previous experience and knowledge of various card associations and other payment industry regulations
' Previous experience in developing and executing multi-million dollar business business cases required
' Previous experience presenting and communicating with Executive level personnel required
' Previous experience with significant problem solving and business analysis processes required
' Previous leadership experience required
