Job Title: Web Application Developer
Primary Job Location: New Orleans area
Job Description: Web application developer creating and supporting web-based applications using a combination of .NET and SQL Server, along with other technologies.

Experience: Database and web-based applications development experience, including developing UI?s, object models, data models, stored procedures, triggers, and business applications from conceptual design through implementation. Experience working closely with the various levels of management and employees understand needs to create application specifications leading to well-designed, functional and user friendly applications.

Desired Skills:
- Strong skills in .NET (ASP.NET, ADO.NET and VB.NET), C#, VB, .Net Framework, Visual Studio, Visual SourceSafe, MS SQL, SQL database analysis, data manipulation, programming of SQL scripts and stored procedures, Reporting Services, Transact-SQL, DTS, Windows Server, IIS, HTML, XML and Java.
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts.
- Business Intelligence knowledge and/or experience.
- Minimum of 2 years programming in the .Net environment and 3-5 years development experience in a business and technical environment. 3-5 years experience utilizing SQL Server and development of stored procedures and database design.
- Well-versed in web development standards using ASP.NET, and other common web development standards. Familiarity with user-centered design and usability practices.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Good project leadership skills.
- Must be a self starter with good organizational and analytical skills with solid ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- May lead and direct the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

 Required Experience

2+ years experience developing in .Net, SQL Server environment including Visual Studio and Visual SourceSafe.
