 Conditional Fees

Conditional Fees make an "American-style" arrangement for the payment of lawyer's fees. They allow you to instruct a lawyer to act for you on a no win no fee basis. If you lose you don't have to pay your lawyer a fee. But if you win, the lawyer can charge up to double the usual fee. They are supposed to provide access to justice for people who wouldn't normally be able to afford the cost of using a lawyer to fight their case.
