Why didn't I get a discounted telephone rate?

Q Telediscount advertises a 15p a minute rate to New Zealand on its website, so you can imagine my shock and horror when I saw on my bill I had been charged £1 a minute.
Telediscount says Vodafone (my mobile service supplier) controls the price but Vodafone is adamant that Telediscount sells the airtime and decides on which discount to give the customer.
I should have fully checked out the service before using it but if it says on the company's website that the rate is 15p a minute, surely as a consumer you are guaranteed to get that rate?

A Telediscount does advertise 15p a minute to New Zealand on its website - but it also states that mobile providers may charge a surcharge for services from mobiles, so you should check with your mobile service provider first.
This warning is pretty clear, and certainly prominent - it comes at the top of the list of call rates - so I think you will just have to swallow the presumably horrific bill.
