Actives Commodity Manager - Tulsa, OK Responsibilities:Manage overall corporate sourcing and commodity spend for the Actives Electronic Component commodity. Manage the selection and monitoring of key supply partners for the assigned commodity for the company. Design, negotiate, and implement corporate wide purchasing agreements for assigned commodities and/or suppliers against which the plants will release specific program demand. Perform diversified duties requiring considerable judgment and decision making to analyze requirements and proposals from all sources of supply for compliance with specifications, delivery and price. Develop and implement strategy for actives electronics commodity sourcing for multiple manufacturing sites. Leads or provides expertise for assigned commodity to cross-functional teams. Develop a knowledge base of the contract electronics manufacturing industry and keep up to date on technological advancements. Negotiate supply agreements for best overall total cost of ownership. Develop new suppliers and assist manufacturing locations with problematic suppliers, developing a plan to either improve or eliminate those suppliers not meeting objectives. Prepare selected requests for quotation as needed and make alternate supply recommendations as required for key Plant projects. Develop innovative inventory management programs with supply partners to enhance cash flow, reduce inventory, and improve the timely supply of needed materials to best meet production demand. Requirements:BS required (MS/MBA a plus). Preference given to candidate with CPM certification. Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, with emphasis on contract negotiations, data analysis and retrieval, and supply chain activities. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and/or in writing at all levels both internal and external to the organization. Proven decision making and problem solving skills. Ability to negotiate with and influence others. Extensive knowledge of generally accepted purchasing and supply chain management tools and practices as well as in depth knowledge of contracting law from both the general commercial perspective and government related procurements. Self-starter with creative and innovative mindset. Able to succeed in a cross matrixed project based environment.
