Document Control Center Manager

Job Responsibilities:

* Establish and implement configuration management processes/standards, including product development and release, release of new items, design BOM, item master files, design change request and design change control.

* Establish and implement standardized procedures for documentation control practices, including maintaining standardized document/drawing formats, identification of documents and product, document release and control, control of confidential documents, management of document storage and risk prevention.

* Control of the master design documents after release as well as SAP material master database, monitor design change request and control/monitor of design change and implementation of design changes.

* Manage technical writers to support development and creation all product technical manuals.

* Measure and report the performance of processes pertinent to configuration/documentation control.

 

Required Education and Experience:

* BS degree in information technology, or computer science or other general engineering disciplines.

* 5 year experience in managing activities pertinent to engineering/manufacturing document control

* Experience in high tech engineering or manufacturing environments.

* Familiar with practices for engineering document control and product configuration control (ISO 10007, EIA 649 and US MIL-HDBK-61, US MIL-STD 973).

* Familiar with methodology/software for product data management (PDM)

* Familiar with various international standards related to engineering practices, such as ISO standards or ANSI standards.

* Familiar with database management practices

* Effective communicator in both Chinese(Mandarin) and English

* Good command in both oral and written English

* Some experience with network communication protocols, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.

* Some experience with C++ and Java programming.
