General job description: Marketing inbound and outbound freight services to both qualified and unqualified exhibitors attending trade shows throughout the United States and internationally.  Gain and retain profitable accounts with a focus on long-term growth.

 

Essential duties and responsibilities: 

? Contact exhibitors of official and unofficial shows to grow customer base

? Secure additional business from exhibitors, associations, contractors, exhibit houses and other profitable sources of revenue.

? Identify and acquire new accounts that utilize the services of a transportation logistics provider

? Maintain and increase sales in respective accounts.

? Identify customer needs and sales.

? Meet sales goals including renewal and new business revenue.

? Maintain an accurate sales database.

? Prepare and maintain in-house reports account profiles, sales pre-plans, call reports, monthly reports, and other reports as needed.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education and/or experience: 1-2 years of proven inside sales abilities and/or marketing experience.2 to 4 years of college a plus. 

Language skills: Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.  Polished and professional presence.  Strong interviewing techniques and networking skills.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, or members of the business community.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, subordinates, customers and follow up on all necessary accounts, leads, and communications. 



Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  TSA certification helpful.  TSA training will be provided with expectation of successful completion.
