Manager, Product Marketing

The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a Product Marketing Manager for our Business Services Marketing Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.


Essential Job Functions:
Works closely with Product Management in the development of marketing requirements, including features, functionality and pricing; Responsible for communicating all relevant product marketing information through out the Business Services Marketing disciplines; Works with Project Management in representing the Business Services Marketing group on cross-functional project management teams; Develops strategy and plan for marketing products and services in the field; Manages marketing agencies in development and fulfillment of marketing materials and inventory of ?evergreen? marketing materials such as collateral, TV, radio, print ads, etc. Works closely with Marketing Specialist to retrieve and analyze competitive intelligence and market research; Works with Time Warner Cable division sales and marketing management, in addition to customers and prospects, to gather key information regarding product awareness/usage/functionality; Offers guidance on new product rollout plans; Responsible for creation of content for division website(s); Manages dissemination of information/materials to Time Warner Cable divisions; Assists in the creation of product guides for Road Runner Business Class products and services.


Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have an understanding of Internet and telephony technologies; He or she will have the ability to take complex product features and communicate them into non-technical end-user benefits and features; Successful candidate will have previous B2B marketing experience in product and/or brand management; ability to approach problems with creative thinking; effective business management skills; strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; exemplary strategic planning and execution; very strong verbal and written communication skills, and; ability to analyze data and create action plans; Travel 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess at least five years B2B marketing experience, specifically focused on technology products and services; Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment; Must have copywriting or editing skills; Highly organized and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills; Must be adept at creating, maintaining and delivering detailed documentation and presentations; Must have the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities that are customary in a start up environment; Must have great presentation skills and must work well in a dynamic group environment and under deadline pressures. Willingness to work with others in an integrated way to achieve individual objectives, as well as, organizational results.


Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
