Market Solution Manager - Manufacturing & Distribution

The Market Solution Manager is responsible for identifying, defining, and bringing to market Endeca"&tm;s information access solutions in Manufacturing and Distribution markets, from industry research and analysis through sales enablement and support. The focus will be on increasing the penetration of Endeca"&tm;s Manufacturing and Distribution solutions, including Product Data Navigation and B2B eCommerce, and driving Endeca"&tm;s horizontal solutions such as Knowledge Management throughout our Manufacturing and Distribution customer base.

The Market Solution Manager has broad responsibility for Endeca"&tm;s success in Manufacturing and Distribution including definition of market strategy and business goals, and identification and definition of product enhancements and strategy to address solution-specific and platform requirements. The Market Solution Manager will also drive creation / modification of messaging & positioning including marketing collateral, sales tools, web site text, etc. and the enablement of demand generation activities such as webinars, email campaigns, and trade-shows. Additionally, the Market Solution Manager will work closely with Endeca"&tm;s sales team including leading sales force education through training sessions, creation of sales materials, one-on-one training with sales representatives in live accounts, and direct sales execution, in concert with sales representatives, at strategic accounts.

Required Skills:
The candidate should have solid experience in enterprise software and in Manufacturing. Minimum 2-5 years of product marketing, product management, or directly related consulting experience with the demonstrated desire and ability to progress to a general management role is required. The candidate should have strong communications skills, written and verbal, from writing collateral and presentations through delivering these materials "" both non-technical and moderately technical. The candidate should have demonstrated the ability to perform primary market research and synthesize the results of that research into actionable plans for Endeca. Culturally, the candidate should have a passion for enterprise software and be team oriented including ability to both lead teams and participate in projects. Experience in information management, (document / content management, RDBMS, etc.), PLM/PDM, CRM, and/or business intelligence is a plus.
