Marketing Transaction Manager

CTG is looking for a Marketing Transaction Manager for a permanent position. Seeking a high potential individual who wants to join a company that will be the future of the PC industry and wants to be a big part of making that happens.  This well motivated individual must be able to accept broad responsibilities easily and with little supervision.  The person must communicate well with other people, willing to do some traveling, and thrive on constant change.  Career and compensation advancement based on achievement.This person will be responsible for driving and growing company business and market share across the Americas. Key focus areas include understanding SMB and consumer IT buyers and leveraging those insights, identifying breakthrough growth opportunities, leading with innovations and delivering marketing plans.  This individual must have a broad understanding of the marketing disciplines (Marketing Communications, Product Marketing/Brand Management, and Marketing Programs) and must have a demonstrated ability to use that knowledge to drive results.

 

The desired candidate has a demonstrated background of at least 3-5 years in the following (overall 10+ years in marketing and brand management):
1) Understanding the US, Canadian and Latin American markets including:
- selling to Small Business. (IT market desired)

- selling to consumers

2.) Must show a proven ability to build a brand or product presence within the Americas

3.) Demonstrated breakthrough thinking by:
- leveraging innovative concepts;
- creating marketing concepts and plans tailored to target markets

- Developing strategies to exploit market opportunities

4.) Ability to work through multiple business units to achieve goals.

 

This role needs to focus on creating and leading both tactical and longer term marketing plans (i.e. 2-3 year planning horizon). It also will require being globally connected in order to "search & reapply" ideas that will work across the Americas.
