Medical Center Interior Design Coordinator 25001-1974

Advocate Christ Medical Center, located in Oak Lawn, IL is a world-class teaching and research institution that is part of Advocate Health Care, Chicago?s largest provider of health care. 

 

We are currently seeking a full time Coordinator Interiors/Move.  This exempt position manages and coordinates the medical center?s interior design standards program, moves/relocations/unoccupied space, and furniture asset program.  This position plans, develops and implements interior finishes and furnishings on a timely basis within financial constrains and in compliance with applicable state and local codes and established standards.

 

Qualified Candidates must have:
Good space planning, design, & color coordination skills
Basic computer skills with Windows & Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Working knowledge of the contract furniture and design industry
Good project management skills
Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design or equivalent experience
2-3 yrs professional experience in contract furniture and /or design firm or in facilities management
Hospital or Healthcare experience required
Ability to visit construction sites in progress and access work areas
