Merchant Product Manager, HPC
Amazon.com is looking for a results-oriented, smart and experienced business manager to develop and manage the third-party partner channel in its Consumables (Health & Personal Care) category. The Consumables Product Manager will make a big impact on the performance and satisfaction of third-party sellers by managing Amazon.com partner relationships, leveraging traffic channels, tracking category performance, developing programs to benefit all sellers, and championing key platform features.
The Consumables Product Manager is an advocate for 3rd-party sellers, in concert with site merchandising, product management, retail merchandising, technical account management, and merchant integration, and focuses on strategic planning for the Consumables third party business, driving traffic, gross merchandise sales (GMS), net revenue, and customer satisfaction. In addition, the Product Manager is a tireless advocate for Amazon.com and our customers and is experienced in dealing with strategic partnerships and driving process improvements.
Specifically, the Consumables Product Manager will:Drive our day-to-day relationships with key partners. Maximize the bottom-line results of these relationships by ensuring the partners are using all tools available to them, effectively merchandising their products on Amazon.com, and expanding their selection. Represent the company with partners and work with all relevant cross-functional areas and our technology teams to guarantee smooth, efficient implementation. Develop programs, feature requests, and processes to drive sales of existing partners and partner segments. Develop business cases to quantify the partners' needs and opportunities for new features and enhancements. Build strong internal relationships with marketing, business development, worldwide applications and merchant integration teams.
The Consumables Product Manager must possess excellent communication skills and will have experience in business analysis, strong problem solving skills, and a background in marketing, retail or e-commerce. Must be well organized, self-starting, able to work in a highly demanding environment and move with speed to implement own ideas. The ideal candidate should be able to identify and drive growth opportunities for the business, effectively prioritize and multitask, and have a strong bias for action. Keys to success include exceptional analytical, creative, project management, and interpersonal skills, along with an intense customer focus and comfort with computer databases and tools. BA/BS and MBA preferred.
