Packaging Maintenance Advisor (4 openings)

Overview Provide leadership to all Packaging departments on the day to day operation through the use of tools and systems (such as Behavioral Observational Safety, Gator Observation, Total Efficiency, Breakdown Analysis, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Focus Improvement and Progressive Maintenance).  Manage the system to drive continuous improvement of people and business through cross-functional team collaboration and employee ownership of the operation as it relates to all categories of the Big "5".  Act as manager of the department when the department manager is absent.  Manage numerous aspects of the department operations, including but not limited to prioritizing the work, managing the departmental budget, coordination maintenance activities, directing supervisory and hourly workforce and administering all company contracts, policies and procedures.  Model Leadership competencies through coaching and training that support the Company Leadership Model.

Basically, the position is a Maintenance Supervisor who will also be responsible for overseeing the palletizing operation.

 

Requirements

(1) B.S. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

(2) 5-7 years of packaging maintenance experience

(3) 5-7 years of demonstrated increased responsibility in supervisory, managment or comparable

 leadership positions.
