Product Group Manager

MARKEM Corporation headquartered in Keene, New Hampshire, is a trusted world leader in innovative and reliable product and package identification solutions including equipment, software, supplies and services. Currently we have an opening for an experienced Product Group Manager in our Primary Coding segment.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

?  Manage the Primary Coding Product Group, for profit and growth.

?  Manage the Global team of Primary Coding Product Managers (4-6 people).

?  Support the creation and implementation of overall Product Strategy and the development of tools and methods.

?  Support the US based Product Management function with guidance and leadership in Industrial Marketing.

?  Creating an understanding of customer value.

?  Formulate strategy for delivery of customer value at Portfolio, Group and individual Product level. Including:

o Market analysis,

o Segmentation,

o Targeting and positioning,

?  Creating and maintaining product roadmaps.

?  Facilitate new product planning and execution.

?  Design customer value delivery systems.

?  Create and maintain value propositions.

?  Communicate and facilitate delivery of value to the customer.

?  Life Cycle management including:

o Product Line Profitability,

o Product, pricing, promotion and positioning,

o Internal and external customer satisfaction,

o Ensure communication of value propositions, product, pricing, positioning and promotion to distribution channels and customers.

?  Identify opportunity in the business for improving efficiency. 

?  Propose, participate in and lead Continues Improvement efforts to capitalize on opportunities identified. 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

?  Ideally BS, in Engineering or relevant technical, scientific, business subject.

?  MS or MBA degree desirable.

?  12 + years Industrial experience with 8 + years first hand demonstrated performance delivering results in product management role for technical products and services in industrial segment, demonstrating significant results.

?  Additional training in business management, marketing or related disciplines desirable such as field marketing, marketing communications, engineering, product development, sales or business development.

?  Demonstrated delivery of results in large complex projects including new product launches.

?  Demonstrated responsibility for setting global strategy and priorities for multiple complex product lines.

?  Demonstrated ability to propose, set, and delivers strategic objectives within a business segment.

?  5 + years management experience, demonstrating facilitation of other employee's growth and development.

 

50% travel domestic and international
