Product Manager - Billing and Settlement Services

Role . Manage product definition and technical aspects of implement for wireless data billing and settlement services
. Act as the primary functional point of contact for product software.
. Create and manage system implementation schedules for multi-month, multi-component projects
. Develop an understanding of products sufficient to identify, anticipate, and raise issues relating to a wide-range of functional and technical issues. These include business models, revenue assurance, support, interoperability, software delivery, upgrade process impacts, backwards compatibility and standards compliance
. Deliver completed programs that achieve technical objectives and customer satisfaction
. Set project goals, objectives, metrics, and monitor progress in conjunction with schedules
. Provide issue ownership, escalation, and resolution

Skills/Experience
. Proven track record in successfully managing large development and deployment projects that result in the commercial launch of wireless data billing and settlement services
. Three to five years experience in engineering project or program management
. Three to five years experience in telecommunications industry
. Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles
. Experience managing customer expectations and product deliverables across development and operations teams
. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of diverse teams including engineering, sales, accounting, operations, customers and vendors
. Team-oriented approach to pursuing objectives

Additional Skills
. Experience working directly with the wireless operator's billing teams, customer relationship management and/or other IT systems
. Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and Revenue Assurance
. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including technical and non-technical documentation, presentations

. Bachelor's of Science/Bachelor's of Arts in Computer Science or Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
