Product Manager/Business Analyst

WebVisible currently has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Product Manager/Business Analyst at our headquarters located in Irvine, CA.

 

Position Overview:

The Product Manager/Business Analyst will be a member of the engineering team that is responsible for building WebVisible?s core software products.  WebVisible is a key player in the on-line marketing space, building applications that link small to medium sized companies with a wealth of advertising and search opportunities on the Internet.  These applications are mission critical applications that drive revenue for the company and are critical to the overall success of the enterprise.  The PM/BA will develop requirements and specifications that enable the engineering team to build components of the core business application. 

 

Requirements & Experience:

?  5+ years experience as a Product Manager and/or Business Analyst building mission critical production applications

?  Ability to develop requirements and functional specifications based on high level requirements and requests from customers and senior management

?  5+ years developing products for Microsoft Windows and/or web-based applications

?  3+ years experience building applications as part of a team environment

?  Experience with on-line search marketing and advertising

?  Experience using a formal software development lifecycle

?  Excellent overall communication skills

?  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

?  Masters degree a plus

 

Position Responsibilities:

?  Work from high level feature requests to build detailed requirements and/or functional specifications to convert these requests into product features

?  Develop functional requirements and specifications from product roadmap and company strategy documents

?  Interact with customers to understand customer business processes and system requirements, and identify how existing WebVisible products meet these requirements and/or what additional features are needed to meet these requirements

?  Work extremely well with Software Engineers and Quality Assurance Analysts to build a strong, cohesive engineering team

?  Work with Software Engineer staff to ensure feature requests and requirements are built according to spec

?  Assist Quality Assurance team to ensure that overall product delivery meets requirements, and assist in specific testing tasks as required

?  Help establish overall company product roadmap and product strategies

?  Conform to established guidelines and processes, adhere to the development lifecycle established by the Engineering team, and work to improve the overall development lifecycle

?  Work on tasks as assigned for specific projects, meeting deadlines as set forth by project managers and functional manager

?  Take direction and guidance from the Director of Operations and the Chief Technology Officer

?  Work with other company staff members in a positive, cohesive manner
