Product Manager-Industry Standards Initiatives

Role Candidate will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating project activities pertaining to the companies support of industry initiatives.

This position requires solid project management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment including coordination of activities of third party vendors, from inception to successful implementation. Must be able to travel.

Skills/Experience
-A minimum of five years telecommunications industry work experience as a project manager is required.
-Proven track record in successfully completing projects.
-Must have proven ability to manage multiple technical projects.
-Exceptional written and verbal and strong presentation skills required.
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
-Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Additional Skills
Relevant technical areas experience: Knowledge of CDMA terminal test systems and equipment, CDMA 2000 test standards, Mobile IP, MMS, OMA standards. Experience working with wireless carriers and terminal vendors is a plus.

Education Requirements
Must have the equivalent of a degree in EE/CS plus multiple years of experience in communications, with 2-3 years minimum being project management related (program management/product management).
