Product Manager- Operational Risk

The market leader in Operational Risk Solutions, is looking for an experienced software product manager for its product development efforts. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can help us develop and implement our product plans, identify unmet needs and new opportunities, and contribute to the growth of our business.

The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years experience in software product management at a leading financial services vendor. He or she will demonstrate the ability to bring products to market, identify growth opportunities, and develop innovative solutions. Experience in requirements analysis, product specifications, project management, vendor/client relationship management, user acceptance testing, and product support and marketing is required. Ability to meet deadlines and budgets and ensure quality, on-time deliverables is a necessity.

Specific Duties Include:
Short Term:
Manage the implementation process for the firm's next generation operational risk product including defining required documentation, prototyping tools, configuration guidelines, and implementation timelines.
Run the product alpha and beta programs.
Create the full documentation package including a sales prototype and script
Contribute to building the product roadmap
Analyze the competition and suggesting enhancement to maintain or improve our product's position

Longer Term:
End-to-end product management responsibility for product in one or more new market segments.
Identify next market segment for product penetration through market research and competitive analysis
Build business plan for entering new market and gain senior management approval and funding
Manage product definition, development, and delivery of new software product.
Coordinate the activities of technology, project management, business analysis, and client services to ensure successful launches of new products


Qualifications :
. 5+ years experience leading large software product development efforts for financial services industry
. In-depth knowledge of global capital markets
. Excellent client relationship management skills
. Proven project management and product marketing skills
. Excellent communication skills
. High-energy, hands-on, innovative team player
