Product Manager Promotional Products

We are currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for the Product Manager of Promotional Products position in our WearGuard-Crest division based in Norwell, MA. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Merchandising.



 

The Product Manager of Promotional Products will be responsible for product assortment and category management for the promotional products business for ARAMARK.  In this role, essential duties and responsibilities include the following: directing the assortment for the direct marketing catalog product line, managing the assortments selections for corporate program with the customers to ensure profitable sales and acceptable inventory turns, analyze market trends and category performance, partner with the National Accounts sales team in winning new corporate programs by developing and presenting sales pitches and developing and implementing sales and product training for all sales staff.  Additionally, develop strategic partnerships with promotional product suppliers that position ARAMARK ahead of the competition.  This will entail defining vendor structure to support our sales growth strategy and service, negotiating and supervising negotiation on all product selections and managing vendor performance on service.





The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of experience in product selection and management, knowledge of the Promotional Products industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proven managerial skills, ability to work well with teams, strong organizational and analytical skills, and an excellent knowledge of applicable industry computer software.  Decisions are made and action initiated within jobholder's area of control without referral to higher authority.  Jobholder is ultimately responsible for the decision of all direct and indirect reports.  Directives may be vague or non-existent.  Decisions frequently involve risk, competition, urgency and variables that are difficult to measure and control.  Decisions generally have great impact on the organization and/or customer.
