Duties & Responsibilities:



 

Follows and implements the direction and strategies for the relationship with the industry associations/schemes. Maintains and monitors the on-going relationship with these associations, addressing daily operational/production issues and maintaining current knowledge of the associations? rules and regulations. Follows the process for establishing new clients and ensures the appropriate parties complete the necessary association paperwork.  Documents and follows the process for adding any new functionality for associations/schemes: chip card, RFID, etc.

Must maintain working knowledge of all functionality as it relates to the associations/schemes.  Works with finance to set up appropriate and proper handling of fees received from the associations to be expensed or passed through to our clients.  Ensures and retains its certification each year with the associations/schemes as a processor and maintains compliance of the edit packages.  This requires reviewing and accessing any necessary changes and responsibility for ensuring any changes are documented and made to the system.  This requires working through other areas within the company to ensure we are in compliance with association rules and regulations as well as dealing with ongoing relationships with these areas and our clients. 

 

Distributes all documentation for the associations to the different areas and coordinating representation at all of the different conferences, meetings, focus groups and forums with the associations/schemes.  All these requirements are for the US associations/schemes as well as the International associations/schemes. 

 

Required Skills

 MUST have credit or debit card processing experience and working knowledge of VISA and or Master Card.Four-year college degree in related field and 6 or more years of professional experience or 8 or more years professional experience is required.Strong overall PC skills (MS Office).Thorough understanding of project management skills, concepts and data requirements.Understanding of data processing and network concepts and infrastructure.Understanding of financial implications related to card processing and issues.Professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude.Willingness to travel (domestic and internationally) on occasional basis.Adaptability to various cultural environments/norms.Exhibits advanced oral communication, written communication, organizational, and time management skills in dealing with internal and external clients.Effectively manages multiple responsibilities.Works well in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment.Listens well and utilizes information.

 Prepaid Industry knowledge, card processing knowledge, association/scheme knowledge
