Product Marketing Director

Location:  Chicago, IL or Alexandria, VA

 

The Product Marketing Director will work collaboratively with colleagues in marketing, sales, and product management to support Agentrics growth and customer acquisition by driving the positioning and visibility of Agentrics solutions on the market.  He/she will be responsible for delivering competitive analyses, content and sales tools and generating compelling, benefits-oriented sales and marketing messages. 

 

The Product Marketing Director will also be responsible for ensuring that all outbound content clearly and accurately highlights the value proposition of Agentrics product offerings, including features and functionalities, services and unique selling points. 


Areas of responsibility:Drive Agentrics solution and product brandingIdentify size and plan market outreach for Agentrics offerings.Identify and deliver necessary marketing content for materials in support of new customer acquisition and customer growth.Conduct product positioning and competitive analysis. Responsible for synthesizing market positioning data and communicating unique value proposition in collaterals, website content, demos, and sales collateral. Build ?sell-against? messaging strategy and content for each key competitor.Conceive and write white papers to demonstrate Agentrics thought leadership in the retail and consumer good market; identify the potential for case studies displaying benefits customers can realize with Agentrics solutions and support their deliverySupport Agentrics strategy for industry fair and event presence, by establishing event messaging platform, content, and post-event follow-upActively support press/media opportunities, and work with the marketing, customer and product management teams to maximize Agentrics global presence in the media.Work in coordination with corporate marketing to deliver content for industry analystsCreate and manage the appropriate process for delivery of briefing materials for customers and sales for all product releases.Assist with driving product launches to market, product positioning, press releases and competitive analyses.


Requirements:Bachelors Degree or equivalentMinimum 4 to 6 years in international technology and service product marketing, with a successful track record as an effective product marketing director or manager.Retail and consumer good industry backgroundGlobal experience highly preferableAbility to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
