Product Quality Engineer

Bachelor of Science degree and/or equivalent quality system experience with a minimum of 2 years of broad technical and manufacturing experience, of which at least two years should be in inspection and/or quality engineering functions.

 

Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100

 

Strong communication skills and knowledge of mechanical inspection

 

Hands on, self starter, team player, strong problem solving skills, ability to work under minimum supervision and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

 

Duties include:

? Performing supplier audits

? working with suppliers to assist with and resolve quality issues

? receiving inspection of materials, items and components used in the end product

? investigating non-conformances; implementing root cause, corrective actions when necessary

? Performing chemical analyses, physical testing, and performance evaluations, as necessary
