Production Coordinator

Responsibilities:
The Production Coordinator oversees the activities of the Order Filling Team and ensures all order filling functions are executed accurately and in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities: Monitors the workload and progress of the order filling team. Helps motivate and guide order fillers. Provides training to the order filling department personnel. Monitors job performance and makes recommendations regarding disciplinary action and participates in the preformance appraisal process. Reviews timecards. Controls the invoice print process, addresses problems with printers. Alerts Team Leader of any irregularities. Maintains housekeeping standards in the order filling department. Provides backup to order filling duties as required and as time allows.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have the following: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous manufacturing, distribution or operations work experience required. A minimum of one year supervisory experience with strong organizational and problem solving skills. Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast pace environment. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential. PC knowledge with above average word processing and spreadsheet skills. Experience using computerized invetory systems highly desirable.
