Production Manager - Stockton

SUMMARY

Responsible for production operations.

JOB FUNCTIONSControl and direct all aspects of production operations to comply with written Standard Operating Procedures. Manage production staff, evaluate personnel and ensure that all employees are properly trained and understand company procedures. Control facility budget and approve all production expenditures. Assist General Managers and Nurse Consultants in hospital account set-up, customer tours and other sales and marketing activities as needed. Submit for approval purchase requests for capital equipment and linen inventory. Control information flow, reports and other communication, into and out of the department. Work with Product Development in making facility method changes. Provide discipline; has responsibility to discuss hire and fire issues with Manager. Ensure that both quality and employee performance standards are being met. Ensure that preventative maintenance program is performed on production equipment.

  11.  Enforce facility cleanliness standards.

  12.  Conduct regular staff meetings within department.

13.  Schedule sterilizer calibrations and validations at proper intervals.

  14.  Meet OSHA standards.

  15.  Assist in any areas as directed.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education:

Bachelor?s degree in Business, Engineering, or one of the Life Sciences preferred. Experience in a closely related field may be considered a substitute for education.

Experience:

Three years management experience required, preferably in production environment.

Skills and Abilities:Proven success in managing budget. Experience with and knowledge of billing and accounts receivable. Proven management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to manage time and work effectively under pressure. Ability to interact effectively with Executive Management.
