 Material in Motion Inc.provides customized inventory management and distribution strategies to our customers with a focus on after-market sales support.  Our rapid growth has created the need for a Quality Assurance Engineer to handle all aspects of our Total Quality Management systems and the maintenance and release of production documentation.

 The successful candidate is organized, detail oriented and meticulous; yet able to adapt to a fast-paced environment that presents cutting-edge results to customers.

 Job Responsibilities:Maintains knowledge of product line, current technological advances and industry standards to ensure product and process performance conform to established company quality and regulatory standards.Identification and implementation of opportunities to improve purchased material productivity.Perform initial assessment and periodic audits of supplier quality systems for the purpose of approving new suppliers and verifying continuing supplier conformance to quality system requirements.Work with suppliers to identify root causes of quality problems, developing and implementing action plans to improve supplier quality performance and assuring supplier issues are resolved in a timely manner.Manage RMA processes from initial customer contact through problem resolution.Design and develop procedures for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data in order to evaluate current processes and process changes. 

 Job Requirements:Expertise in quality systems and quality techniques.Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems expeditiously.Knowledge of basic statistical process control methodsStrong interpersonal and written communication skills.Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.Strong understanding of supply chain concepts.Proficiency in MS Office applications.Working knowledge of ERP/MRP software a plus.
