Senior Associate, Operational Risk Management

We are currently seeking an Operational Risk Management Senior Associate to join us in our Dallas office.

Operational Risk Management (ORM) Services professionals assist our clients as they work to improve business performance and manage risk. ORM focuses on physical operations such as manufacturing, distribution, logistics, procurement, sourcing, and inventory management. Our team of professionals performs reviews of operations, identifying and assessing opportunities for improvement in process, organization, technology risks and control.


Responsibilities:
* Participate in business development activities for supply chain engagements
* Support practice leaders in the identification of prospective client opportunities, as well as participating in significant business development presentations and negotiations
* Project a professional image of KPMG and provide high quality service to our clients
* Establish good working relationships with fellow industry/process practitioners
* Participate in account planning, proposal development, and client presentations
* Target services to key accounts


Qualifications:
* Three years of supply chain operations experience
* One of the following operating disciplines: procurement/sourcing; manufacturing; logistics; inventory/material handling
* BS degree in Business (or equivalent) from an accredited college/university
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong general understanding of business dynamics and operations
* Strong proficiency in basic PC applications (MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
* Ability to assist in the organization and management of a multi-disciplinary team
* Able to handle significant travel, as needed
