Job PurposeMandate: Work with team to grow Harris mortgage business profitably. The Product Manager is primarily responsible for on-going product management, product development and implementation and overall campaign management, for the mortgage business. The overall responsibilities include the development, execution and management of the product strategy and related goals/objectives for designated products/services.

Job Accountabilities Develop and execute strategic product plans mortgage business, in order to maintain competitive products/services, increase profitability and market penetration, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Provide project management, facilitation and execution of project plans, in support of strategic and tactical initiatives designed to meet designated product goals and objectives, including but not limited to new product design, development, implementation, roll-out and campaign management. Manage and direct resources to support strategic and tactical initiatives. Liaison and consult with the Director of Mortgage Sales & the Director of Mortgage Operations to execute mandate Provide support to the SVP of Consumer Lending Product Management, in order to accomplish the overall goal of development and execution of market/business strategy, product development and implementation.

Job Duties Develop, recommend and execute product strategy for Harris Mortgage business in order to increase revenues and market penetration and/or share of market. Participate in the design and development of product/promotional campaigns, for designated products/services, and maintain primary oversight for the implementation and management of such campaigns. Provide on-going management, maintenance and oversight for designated products/services, including but not limited to, product enhancements; the development and monitoring of essential management information/MIS; identifying opportunities to improve existing products; remaining current on competitor offerings and in removing obstacles for success, in order to ensure competitiveness and properly functioning product and service offerings. Manage internal and external third party relationships for Harris Bank mortgage business. Manage financial resources and budget constraints, in order to meet the financials goals of the organization. Manage and direct personnel to aid in accomplishing strategic and tactical product goals and objectives, including, but not limited to, coordination of activities across the organization to meet business and organizational goals and objectives. Participate and oversee related system initiatives, including but not limited to: reducing costs in systems or process design; lead/support systems hardware and software upgrades/conversions as needed. Develop, provide content and manage the implementation of training and communication programs for mortgage sales force. Advocate strategic product opportunities to LOB decision-makers and other areas of the Bank. Provide support to the S.V.P., Consumer Lending Product Management in order to accomplish the overall goals and objectives of the Harris Consumer Lending Business Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education
College Education/Degree

Experience
8-15 years of experience in financial services, product management and/or related field. Experience in mortgage business required. Familiarity with Harris Mortgage products/programs preferred
