Sr Product Manager-ACT!
Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the success of ACT! product lines. They will recommend the strategic course of action affecting long-term investment and profitability. Will create, justify and execute programs to achieve objectives. Will research, prioritize and document market requirements. Work cooperatively with Product Development and other organizations to deliver products that meet market requirements and generate competitive advantage. Manage product(s) over their entire lifecycle to ensure maximum revenue and profitabilty. Coordinate a large number of resources across several functional areas or entities. Responsibilities also include project or program leadership, consulting and reviewing the work of others.
Specific areas of focus for this position:
- ACT! Contact and Customer Managament
- International product delivery
- IT infrastructure and corporate computing environments
- Vertical Markets and Accounting Integrations
- Proven Business management leadership bringing new products to market and ensuring overall success.
- 5+ years of Product Management experience or equivalent CRM market experience, preferably in customer/contact managent, sales force automation or general purpose CRM.
- BS/BA Degree is preferred, MBA is ideal.
- Understanding Contact Management and/or CRM markets is preferred.
- Product Planning: Requirements, documentation, research, trade-off's, pricing, enhancements/upgrades, roadmap.
- Business Planning: Market research (primary & secondary), competitive analysis, forecast, market sizing, segmentation.
- Go To Market Planning: Channel analysis, positioning, press/analyst, sales tools, training, support.
- Product lifecycle management. Demonstrated ability to follow established lifecycle process.
- Complete project/product ownership to ensure market success.
- Effective worldwide communication to technical, marketing, sales, executive and customer support audiences.
- Leadership to work cooperatively across multiple diverse groups, building alignment, consensus and closure.
- Understanding unique requirements of international markets is ideal.
- Create and manage relationships with external business partners.
- Developing and selling product through retail, value -added reseller, on-line and direct sales is ideal.
- PC, server hardware and software, security, or firewall experience is ideal.
