Transaction Associate

Your job is responsible for helping to facilitate the coordination and execution of transactions on behalf of business owners. Your responsibilities include sourcing, screening, analyzing, and internally monitoring financing transactions and succession planning transactions. These transactions may include Business Securities-based Lending, Business Commercial Financing (provided by an outsourced partner) and Business Advisory and Succession Planning. You will market internally (National Sales Management, Financial Advisors (FA), Banking Product Consultants (BPC), and others) the transaction capabilities of the firm and the referral partners. You will partner with field producers, managers, and specialists (Banking Product Consultants and Regional Products and Services Consultants) to promote UBS's banking and extended offering to the relevant business market client. You will review, analyze, and decision the appropriate execution group for each respective transaction. You will manage process whereby transactions are referred by FAs, BPCs, and others to the Transaction Manager, and vise versa. You will ensure a positive client experience through the execution process. You assist the Head of the Business Capital Group in deciding which companies to include as outsourced partners (either for financing or advisory/succession transactions) and to assist in the facilitation of new or expanded relationships with these funding sources. You will team effectively with other internal transactions groups (e.g., lending services, UBS Bank USA, etc.). You will produce and deliver internal training and educational sessions, work with specialists (e.g., BPCs) to enable them to deliver these sessions, plus participate where appropriate in market programs (e.g., client seminars). You will participate in projects related to client accounts (i.e., Resource Management Account (RMA), Business Services Account (BSA)), lending services, and other initiatives relevant to the expansion of banking businesses and UBS Wealth Management. You support the product development and management initiatives for the RMA, BSA, and related services (e.g., lending), including participating in home office, field, and other presentations, training, and/or events.

Basic Qualifications
You are a professional with a minimum of 5 years work experience related to small and middle market businesses (i.e. lending, equity placement, M&A, legal and/or advisory). You have strong communication skills (both oral and written).

Preferred Qualifications
You have prior lending experience.
