Vice President, Corporate Product Group (#120)

This position is responsible for developing and evolving NPD's overall business strategy for providing products and services--derived from market level data?to vertical industries such as consumer technology, automotive, fashion, and others to be determined. The position is accountable for business plan, product development and management, pricing and packaging, partner and vendor relations, and sales and servicing guidelines. The individual will work with numerous business units and support departments, and must be skilled at establishing internal networks, fostering teamwork, setting priorities, and making decisions.

 12+years of business experience preferably in functions of product development and/or management, marketing and/or sales.Solid and considerable experience using POS data for analysis with marketing or manufacturing companies.Extremely strong interpersonal skills; proven experience at building and leading cross-organizational teams.Ability to balance strategic thinking and contribution with hands-on, tactical management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially for translating abstract concepts to business and product specificsBackgrounds with both start-up and established organizations.Demonstrated balance of entrepreneurial spirit and practical business decision-making.Financial management track record.
