Assistant Project Manager

REC Solar is looking for a full-time Project Manager.  This position will supplement existing project management activities in the Bay Area.

 

REC Solar is an electrical construction company focusing on the implementation of solar electric power plants for residential and commercial clients.  While still being a medium sized employer, REC Solar
is one of the leading companies in its market with historic growth
rates exceeding 75% annually.

 

The right candidate should have the following qualifications:

 

- Be detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate information effectively, both orally and in writing
  with REC and clients.
- Strong work ethics and willingness to put in the time necessary to
  maintain an effective schedule that matches the needs of clients.
- Able to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks
  with a high level of organization.
- A background in project management and/or construction  management  ideally combined with an engineering degree.
- Fit a company spirit where people work smart, play hard and like
  to have a lot of fun.

 

The positions duties include but are not limited to:

 

- Evaluate available resources for projects.
- Manage project resources including material and installation crews.
- Build project schedule and communicate with clients.
- Communicate schedule with other departments such as purchasing  and accounting.
- Work with Foreman and Construction Managers to ensure a
  professional installation.

 

The position will be based out of REC Solar's headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA.  Salary will be based on experience and a full benefits package is provided.
