Business Integration Manager

 PRIMARY JOB OBJECTIVE

Responsible for new Customer account integration and development. Develop cross-functional total solution for presentation to the Customer by coordinating internal proposal and functional team efforts. Emphasis on finding creative design and manufacturing solutions that will make MDC stand out from the competition. Leads initial execution of the account until such time as it is transferred to an Account Manager.

 Fully understand and communicate the requirements of qualified sales leads documented in the quote package, product documentation, workmanship and test specifications, and contracts.Identify and communicate areas of risk and opportunity for MDC in the following areas:  test requirements, quality/on-time delivery expectations, up-front investment requirements, NRE payment terms, contract provisions, and other issues.Formulate a total customer solution working with appropriate cross-functional team members.  Components of the total solution could include:  engineering services, materials/supply chain plan, manufacturing plan, test solution, product quotation, and technical presentations.Partner with Sales & Marketing in the presentation of this customer solution.Establish and manage a project plan for customer startup that reflects all the activities throughout MDC that need to occur.Receive, review, and act on all customer orders per established process and policy.Schedule, hold, and document team meetings per MDC policy to assure that all significant customer issues both external and internal are identified, documented, and addressed. This is critically important on new accounts since established relationships are not yet in play.Transition account to Account Manager once production is ready.Serve as a resource to MDC staff in regards to making recommendations on the integration of new accounts.May review quotes for conformance to policy and accuracy.May be assigned to special projects in support of MDC operations or business processes.Actively participates in corporate and team Continuous Improvement events and activities.Know and understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace.Other related duties and/or projects as assigned or identified.

 NATURE AND SCOPE

Reports directly to the Business Integration Manager IV.  Work directly with Sales and Marketing to fully understand total Customer requirements.  Direct Customer contact early in and throughout the integration process.  Works closely with all functional departments to integrate new business into normal business operations at the respective plant.  Works closely with account management in the transition between new business integration and existing business.

 JOB SPECIFICATIONS

? 4-year degree required.  Technical degree preferred.

? Minimum 5 years electronics manufacturing experience required. 

? Requires strong technical, management, planning, and strategic thinking skills.

? Ability to negotiate contracts, analyze financial information, and prepare customer quotations required.

? Knowledge of the full breadth of EMS services offered, program management in EMS, Sales/strategic account management in EMS, Competitive environment, process improvement, familiarity with regional customer base desired.

? Must have strategic account management experience, relationship management skills, and customer meeting facilitation skills.

? Intermediate level PC based skills ? MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)

? Strong presentation skills, executive management communication skills, and internal leadership skills are required.

? Ability to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English required.

? Program/Account management experience with a technical background preferred.
