Direct role:

 

Under broad direction, develops and directs the change management process on Supply Chain projects to ensure the effective delivery of business value.  Directs, communicates and champions change management methodologies and results to assess organization effectiveness against plans.  Works collaboratively with the organization's Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams.  Directs the efforts of the Change Management Specialists.  Provides coaching and skills transfer for project teams.guides team through the strategic sourcing process to determine the optimum solution for internal customer needs based on market capabilities. Delivery of successful projects requires a combination of people, process, and technology.  The major responsibility of this position is to support the people component of the project and integrate well with the process and technology aspects of a project.  Key measures of success include the effective and timely delivery and absorption of new systems Manufacturing and Supply Chain initiatives involving Low Cost Countries .

Results for this position follow the project life cycle.  During Assessment/Planning, focus is on preparing stakeholders and assessing the scope of change required (communication plan).  During Development, focus is on identifying and assisting in establishing new roles and responsibilities (organizational design/career development).  During Test, focus is on sustaining the stakeholders.  During roll-out, focus is on assisting people through the transition (performance support/transition planning).  Finally to complete the project life cycle focus is on assisting in the development and assessment of the make good for the project from a change management view.



Requires strong organizational, interpersonal, negotiating and communication skills.  Must demonstrate an ability to interact with all levels of company leadership, and resolve project related business issues on a timely basis.  Requires skills in facilitation, managing group dynamics, coaching and mentoring, training development and delivery.  Ability to understand complex issues from multiple perspectives and design solutions to incorporate various stakeholder perspectives.  Must demonstrate patience and ability to tolerate ambiguity.  Requires a minimum of 5 years of active and successful project leadership and management.

 

Requires college degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology or related field.  Master?s degree in Counseling, Human Development, Organizational Development or MBA preferred.
