Client/Project Manager maintains and grows strategic relationships with the client and develops a trusted partnership environment that optimizes profitability, revenue, and client satisfaction. The Client/Project Manager is responsible for fostering client centric behaviors and facilitating the Strategic Account Management process as well as ensuring internal resources are correctly focused on our Clients needs.
Position Summary:
The Client/Project Manager delivers value through implementation of contracted services, support of delivered services, renewal and expansion of services. This role acts as the main point of contact between the company?s internal resources and our client. The Client/Project Manager is responsible for the development and evolution of the overall client relationship via strategic thought leadership and Service Delivery checkpoints with key Client stakeholders.
The winning candidate will have broad and strong Client management skills, good Project Management skills, strong interpersonal skills, a functional understanding of IT Services and Support (e.g. CRM), and an understanding of IT Procurement business processes. A working knowledge of technology systems integration and outsourcing and customer care disciplines would be a large plus. Must have an orientation towards development and implementation of client solutions that maximize client return on investment. We are looking for former EDS, HP, CSC, Unisys, ACS and IBM employees (or similar type companies) as well as former employees from strategic consulting companies.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
1. Acts as engagement owner starting with implementation activities and continuing through the life of the clients interaction with GlobalServe.
2. Manage the provision of all GlobalServe services for the Client in the account. This encompasses the disciplines of pre-sales support, project management, and on-going service delivery.
3. Leverages project management skills through planning, scheduling, executing, supporting and reporting at all stages of the engagement.
4. Liaises with other client global partners/suppliers on a regular basis to ensure adherence of effective working practices.
5. Promote GlobalServe as a strategic Global partner for procurement of all hardware and services
6. Ensures GlobalServe adheres to existing Global SLA agreements with client.
7. Enhances customer satisfaction, manages the Customer Improvement Plan for Client and acts as an advocate for multiple GlobalServe business units within the Client account.
8. Collaborates with other GlobalServe operational support functions (Supply Chain and Customer Service) and the IT development team to plan, develop and execute the implementation for assigned clients. These activities include: technical investigation, workflow definition, scope deployment, develop, maintain and deliver project plans to client and internal team.
9. On-going responsibilities include support training, installation rollout, developing and managing deliverables and follow-on deployment activities.
10. Sets client expectations and manage client communication.
11. Provides client specific campaign oversight and ensures customer needs and expectations are met.
12. Works constructively with Sales, Delivery and IT to resolve client issues.
13. Meets with business sponsors to review performance, goals and new business opportunities. Expectations include maximizing services utilization (users, content, spend volume & frequency), span & control and expansion of engagement.
14. Manages the client relationship for value criteria delivery and contract extensions and renewals.
15. Oversees large-scale project implementations. Prepares and/or review project proposals.
Project Management: Manages client?s projects on time and on budget. Engage appropriate consulting services, subject matter experts, and ensure product delivery. Manages post-sales client programs to insure 100% client satisfaction; and that deadlines are met . Provide on-going client support to guarantee that desired requirements and objectives are met.
Grow Existing Business: Builds and solidifies customer relationships to help identify additional needs within existing accounts. Identify new business opportunities.
Provide regular updates on progress with clients back into the GlobalServe business through regular highlight reports and team meetings. Work closely with other delivery personnel to help promote best working practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. BA/BS degree; Masters desirable
2. Minimum 3 years project management and/orengagement management required.
3. Experience with technical assessment & implementations of enterprise business solutions.
4. Outstanding verbal, presentation & written communication skills.
5. Proven ability to communicate effectively both with technical professionals, management at all 6. 7. levels and to end-users.
8. 3-5 years working as part of a team of client-facing professionals in a services oriented company.
9. Industry standard certification: e.g. PMPor the ability to obtain within 6 months
Requirements:
1. Experience to manage and meet client expectations directly and through a team, including the establishment and maintenance of processes, checks and transparent communications tools.
2. Proven project management capabilities within a technology implementation environment.
3. Ability to set agenda and lead meetings with customer. Ability to formulate and communicate key priorities that guide and focus the efforts of others. Exceptional organizational ability with a very strong attention to detail and the personality to achieve organization in the face of multiple pressures and daily factors designed to defeat it. Must be able to work independently and take ownership of this role within the organization.
4. Solid background and experience with client system implementation and product integration consulting processes, including client solution decision process, negotiations, and interaction with a variety of levels of client business unit management.
5. Understanding of technology and information services implementation and integration methods.
6. Background in Project Management, Consulting Services, Change Management, Service Delivery or Strategic Consulting.
