Construction Inspector

POSITION OVERVIEW

Construction management for seismic retrofit of BART Transbay Tube at the San Francisco Transition Structure. Candidate will be responsible for providing daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project is in compliance with plans and specifications.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Observe field work to ensure workmanship and materials meet standards.
? Research and report findings (from field) on daily basis.
? Act as liaison between design office and field to problem solve as necessary.
? Assist Senior Inspector.
? Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management or related degree and 10+ years civil inspection experience. Experience working on marine projects is required.
