Contract Analyst

Edstrom Industries, Inc. is a growing manufacturer located in Waterford WI and is known internationally as the maker of the finest automated watering and environmental monitoring equipment in the industry.  We have an excellent opportunity in our Project Management group for a Contract Analyst to support our Sales Engineering team. 

 

As Contract Analyst, you will review contracts and PO?s for compliance with corporate risk guidelines, negotiate and draft acceptable terms with customers and contractors and verify legal terms and conditions are acceptable.  Additional responsibilities include the review of customer insurance requirements and coordinate certificates with insurance carriers, resolve issues with applicable state sales tax/VAT agencies both domestic and foreign, negotiate and handle bonding requirements, and oversee requirements for tariffs, duties and import fees. 

 

The qualified candidate will have 3-5 years experience in a paralegal or contract administrator role.  Prior experience in a sales environment and construction industry knowledge a plus.  Candidate must have the ability to work cross functionally with sales and administration and be a highly motivated, self-directed individual with the ability to work effectively under pressure.  Strong decision making skills and ability to communicate effectively and persuasively required.
