Contracting Officer

Responsible for contracts management across a broad range of government and commercial customers to ensure company compliance with all contractual requirements, terms and conditions, and to identify and negotiate exceptions to those requirements to mitigate company risk;
Review solicitations to develop specialized responses to unique requirements and provisions.  Provide contractual guidance to proposal team members; participate in writing proposals, as necessary.  Must prepare and provide information to program management regarding contract status, modifications, task orders awards, and contract notice requirements for compliance of FFP, CPFF, T&M, LOE, BOA, IDIQ type contracts.

 

Additional duties and coordination include:
Providing support as required to the program office in responding to solicitations, preparing reports and tracking progress;
Assisting in developing Small Business Plan programs;
Export Compliance;
Non Disclosure Agreements;
Teaming Agreements;
Support Accounts Receivable;
Other duties as assigned;

 

The candidate must conduct all responsibilities in strict compliance with company policies, government regulations and legal requirements.

 
Minimum requirements and experience include:
BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in contract administration/contract management;
Must be computer literate and be proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point;
Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
Must be able to work well in teams;
Must be able to secure a security clearance
Must be knowledgeable of FAR/DFARS/ITAR regulations
