Habitat for Humanity International seeks an experienced, energetic, seasoned campaign executive to launch its next comprehensive, global capitalization campaign, intending to finance a new five-year strategic plan recently endorsed by its International Board of Directors. The is an exceptional opportunity to help Habitat leverage a recently closed, highly successful campaign, to help deliver sustainable community transformation while raising funds for one of the most respected brands in the world, and to work collaboratively with senior executives and program professionals worldwide.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Leadership Giving and Development Services, the Director will establish goals, objectives and strategies required for the effective launch and successful close of a multi-year, globally deployed,  $ 1 billion + comprehensive capitalization campaign. The Director will assemble and deploy resources to implementing colleagues worldwide as necessary to close eight and nine figure lead commitments, and reach annual campaign revenue goals. As well, the Director will collaborate with colleagues cross-functionally to engage national organizations and affiliates worldwide in launching local campaigns that are aligned with the global strategy. There are <u>3 critical objectives:</u>

<li>Collabortively establish goals, objectives and strategies required for the effective launch and successful close of Habitat for Humanity?s next global, comprehensive, $ 1 billion plus capitalization campaign.</li>
<li>Assemble and deploy resources to implementing colleagues worldwide as necessary to reach annual campaign revenue goals.</li>
<li>Engage national organizations and affiliates in launching local campaigns aligned with global strategy.</li>

Habitat for Humanity International ranks among the 15 largest US house builders, and among the top 15 US charities, with annual revenues reaching a record $281 million. The selected candidate will leverage Habitat?s recently-closed, five-year comprehensive campaign, chaired by Jack Kemp, former US Secretary of Housing & Urban Development, which generated $593 million against a $500 million goal and was deployed in nine countries by 37 affiliates and national organizations.

 

The ideal candidate must demonstrate 10 or more years of progressively responsible strategic campaign leadership experience in a complex, matrixed, international non-governmental development or relief organization, and with a full spectrum of revenue generating constituencies.  Experience as a capital campaign consultant or with managing consultants required, as is outstanding communications and negotiation skills.  BA/BS and CFRE are required, as is a passion for the Habitat For Humanity Mission. MBA preferred.
