A Director of Program Management position to coordinate all feasibility, development, and implementation activities for the Pharmaserv suite of products and related projects. This role will assist in the continued development of the Product Management software commercialization processes.
Among the specific responsibilities of this position:

- Project management oversight of all aspects of the development and implementation of new products involving multiple departments and multiple cross-functional teams

- Focus on management and development of the commercialization process.

- Provides a single point of contact to executive management for project management activities.

- Manages high-level work plans, schedules, milestones, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports.

- Serves as project contact between line management, internal and external resources, vendors, and strategic development teams.

- Manages the roles of Business Analysts in the product development process.

- Conducts program-level project meetings; participates in steering committee meetings and executive management briefing meetings.Position Description

Responsible for managing people responsible for a systems project involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a computer based system through the design process and into a finished state for internal or external customers. Oversees and coordinates all aspects of project and serves as manager for project team who are the liaison between project management, line management and other departments. Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical and non-technical matters. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the product/program/project on schedule and within budget constraints. Assigns and monitors systems analysis and program staff, providing technical and non-technical support and direction. This position may be in a matrix type of organization, where the position does not have responsibility over product development but does have overall product/program/project management responsibility.

Note: In this role, direct people-management responsibility is typically required. Individual contributors should be matched to Project Manager.Minimum Requirements

4+ years experience in project management, requirements definition and/ or deployment of business requirements to information systems including 2+ years managerial experience.Additional Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of project management disciplines and techniques for building software systems. Knowledgeable in creating, working, and communicating project plans to various project interest groups at any level within the organization. Very strong writing, negotiation and presentation skills. Collaborative, customer-focused. Strong knowledge of product commercialization process.

Minimum business experience:

- Experience in designing, building, and implementing software business solutions; ideally for retail and/or pharmacy operational setting.

- Significant experience in project management for commercially released software solutions.

- Experience managing Project Managers and Business AnalystsEducation

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experienceCertifications
