Engineering Project Manager ? Chicago area

 Salary range:  $75 ? 90k bonus potential

 

 

Industry leading client is looking for 1 ? 2 Project Managers.

 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

Develop and implement detailed project management plans to achieve timelines and milestones within budget.

 

Generate and implement plans for continuous and ongoing new product development and enhancements.

 

Manage outside vendors and development teams.

 

Lead engineering, sales, marketing, supply chain and finance teams in collaborative efforts to achieve project goals.

 

 

Requirements:

 

BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

 

5 + years exp. in product design with at least 3 years in a project management role.

 

Microsoft Project Management tools experience.

 

Excellent knowledge with a wide variety of engineering concepts, practices and procedures.

 

Project Management experience related to product design and development in a high-volume, offshore manufacturing environment.

 

Experience with design set-up, product launches and continuous improvements in quality and costs.

 

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.

 

Must have experience dealing with Chinese manufacturing facilities.

Up to 25% travel to China.
