Experienced Consulting Project Managers - Enterprise Software Company Summary of Position:

As the Consulting Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful completion of client engagements by planning, executing, and controlling all phases of the project.  As the key client liaison, you will focus on executing the customer?s vision, managing customer?s expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.  You will also be leading and mentoring a project team to produce quality, on-time, on-budget project deliverables that meet the SOW requirements while mitigating risk.  You will be participating in consulting from the pre-sales stage through the solution delivery process.  The Consulting Project Manager is a significant contributor to best practices.

Our client, a division of one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world, develops Supply Chain Management applications for the retail, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, financial services, healthcare and telecommunications industries.  For over 30 years they have specialized multi-enterprise collaboration solutions which integrate processes outside the enterprise to optimize the performance of business communities.  Experience, Qualifications & Skills:Project Management Certifications (e.g. PMP, CMP) or actively pursuing certificateExperience managing teams of 5-10 resources delivering enterprise IT implementationsExperience managing multi-million dollar project budgetsProject Management skills including:  Estimating, Scope Management, Budget Management, Time Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Issue/Conflict Resolution, Procurement Management, Communication Management, Quality Management, Testing Plans, Training Plans, Proposal Management, Team ManagementExceptional interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skillsStrong negotiation skills, strives for win-win resolutions4+ years domain experience within one or several of the following verticals (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Industrial Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail, Telco, Supply Chain Management) preferredKnowledge of application development and system architecture preferred; basic knowledge of Unix/NT, C++, Java, and XML preferredBS/BA degree (technical degree preferred) or equivalent project management experience; MBA preferred

What you will be doing:  You will have a significant impact on revenue due to responsibility for management of client projects.  You are accountable for project profitability, and are responsible for staying within budget on assigned projects.  Your recommendations are key in determining customer-billable time and expenses. You will report directly to the Manager, Consulting Services and indirectly to the Program Manager or Managing Principal for project related items on the customer implementation project.
