Fixed Asset Manager

A manufacturing firm located in Pasadena, California has an immediate need for an interim Fixed Asset Manager. The ideal candidate will have five or more years experience performing the fixed asset processing functions. Other duties may include: Reviewing potential fixed asset invoices in accordance with the capitalization policies and generally accepted accounting principles. Obtaining proper authorization, coding, and processing of fixed assets. Performing monthly analysis and follow-up on deposits. Reviewing fixed asset action required reports and clearing accounts. Qualifications :
Minimum Five years experience in fixed asset processing functions. Completion of some college-level accounting coursework is required, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. An Associates degree in accounting with a GPA of 3.0 or greater is preferred. This position requires strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and excellent communication skills. A level of financial accounting knowledge is also required. The individual must be customer focused and work effectively as a team player. This position requires a high degree of problem solving skills and computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
