GIS Project Mgmt Instructor

Essential Duties and Functions:

? Develop all required processes and corresponding training material in support of Lam?s Project Management Methodology (PMM) programs based on feedback from Lam?s PMO, class attendees, and key stakeholders.

? Sustain all required processes and corresponding training material in support of Lam?s PMM Programs, to include instructor tool kit, student guide, Project Readiness Workshops and any other learning aids.

? Train Leaders and Team members in Lam?s (PMM), processes, and any corresponding programs.

? Manages the operation of the Learning Management System including answering student questions, maintaining employee training records, class/course descriptions and data input of courses

? Interact/communicate with senior management or executive levels on PMM program related activities.

? Researches, evaluates, and makes recommendations for new learning methods, training materials, courseware, tools (software, hardware), etc.

? Develops course assessments to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training

? Schedules training classes, maintains the training calendar and manages the training room reservations

 

Qualifications:

3 ? 5 years experience managing large, complex, and cross-functional projects across an entire company, or PMI Certification

3 ? 5 years leadership & BPP engineering skills

3 ? 5 years experience in corporate training, teaching and/or organizational development

3 ? 5 years instructional design and/or technical writing experience

Strong communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of management

Advanced application Microsoft software skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and MS Project applications.

Full working knowledge of instructional design processes, use of instructional design maps and designing instructional objectives

Proven ability to apply knowledge of Instructional Design and courseware development principles to the development of effective entry level and advanced level training

Ability to develop and evaluate course content and recommend appropriate delivery methods

Ability to work in a detailed and systematic manner

Ability to work both independently and within a team

Excellent project management skills, problem solving and analytical skills

Excellent presentation skills

Excellent time management and organizational skills including ability to prioritize and schedule work and meet deadlines

Working knowledge of multimedia technology and design software

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management in a culturally diverse company.

Demonstrates strong team leadership skills.

Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.

Provide/encourage effective communication between all team members.

Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tasks.

BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience in IS/IT as an instructor or a member of a corporate PMO.

Instructor Certification from an accredited institution
